Overview
Songido Island is the central island of Nagwol-myeon and the second largest among its many islands. Rockfish are abundant on Songido Island, while yellow croaker, shrimp, and mackerel are caught in large quantities in the nearby waters. Seaweed and blue crabs are the island's specialties. The 4 kilometer-long pebble beach boasts outstanding scenery. Additionally, the "Miracle of Moses," where the seawater parts between Songido and Gakido Islands, occurs. When the sea path opens, visitors can walk between the islands, and when the tide goes out, the area is gaining popularity as a tidal flat experience site where shrimp, prawns, and surf clams are abundant.
